ADI's achievements at this year's Graphics of the Year

Teachers and students of the ART & DESIGN INSTITUT are again represented at this year's national competition show "Graphics of the Year 2020". However, at the exhibition, which presents a selection of the best contemporary graphic art in the Czech Republic, this time there is an extraordinary number of ADI educators nominated in various categories:

Nomination for the main prize in category A (large graphics) - Mgr. et MgA. Eva Vápenková - Cittá invisibli
Nomination for the gravure printing award - Mgr. et MgA. Eva Vápenková - Cittá invisibli
Nominations for lithography - doc. ak. mal. Roman Franta - Zahanbený (Ashamed)
Nomination for the author's book - prof. PhDr. Miloš Šejn - NMHTÍ, computer graphics (digital sandwich of typographic and image data)

In addition to nominations for awards for a current graphic work created last year, nominations for the 26th Vladimír Boudník Award were also published. This is a prestigious award for the artist's lifelong contribution to graphics. Among the nominees are also prof. PhDr. Miloš Šejn and prof. ak. mal. Mgr. Martin Velíšek, Ph.D.

The exhibition will take place from 21 April to 23 May 2021 in the Imperial Stables, and from 1 to 19 June in a rerun at the Ladislav Sutnar Gallery in Pilsen.
